Dear readers
Having lost the matches to Vic, WA now fights for a bronze against NNZ 1.
This is a rematch which was won the first time by WA.
This time, WA would expect NNZ1 to throw everything at them.
The fight was very close but by the time, we reached the Mixed doubles game, WA was not looking good.
Again there were several 3 setters which could have gone either way.
The WA players and their young bodies could not handle the pace and had to finally concede defeat at 6/10.
What a sad moment for the players and their coach. I am sure the parents were shouting themselves hoarse.
So WA has to settle for 4th place despite such a strong start.
They now have to regroup and fight for individual glory. They have all done WA proud.
