3rd day of individuals and WA is going well.

Dear readers

Today has been a good day for WA.

In the boys singles, KC progresses to the finals to play against Charlie Jap. He beat Janson Trinh in 3 sets after losing the first set. Great comeback. Sunyee tried his best but could not find a spot in the finals losing to Charlie Jap in 2 sets.

In the Girls singles, there was an upset with Bella losing in 3 sets to Sasha Lim. I am told Bella has blisters the size of doughnuts. Poor girl. Never mind, she still has the mixed doubles.

In the mixed, KC and Bella will meet Janson Trinh and Celeste Lee. Hopefully Bella's feet will be okay.

In the boys doubles, WA is making history with 2 teams competing for gold and silver, Jason and Sun Yee will be playing Milain and KC. I do not know how the parents are going to cheer for their children in court as all the parents are quite close. Good luck. This is probably the first time in the Under 17s tournament or any national tournament where there are 2 WA teams fighting for gold and silver. Congrats to Coach Yuli and assistant YQ for training such a strong WA team. And the 4 boys are from Yuli's An Yu Badminton Academy.

In the girls doubles, Bella again ran into bad luck and not making the finals. Sasha and her lost to V Hee and Vega in 2 sets.

In the girls singles plate, Alicia has clinched the plate against A Alexander. Good work young Alicia.

In the mixed plate, Ryan and Daphne could not progressed to the finals losing to eventual winners A Ang and J Zhu.

In the girls doubles plate Katrina and Daphne did us proud winning in 3 sets against L Phan and C Sak. Their parents must be so proud of them.

Infact all the player's parents should be proud of what their child have achieved.

Lets see if more history can be made tomorrow.
