3rd day WA vs SA

Dear readers

The team did much better today. They beat SA 12-4.

This is in great contrast to the Under 15s  fight last year when they lost in the bronze medal fight to SA.

Timothy and Joanne will be feeling the revenge factor.


Natasha and Lily had their first doubles win for WA. They fought a 3 setter against G Gao and R Nugroho.

Bernice and Joanne also had a tough 3 setter win against C Tan and D Nugroho.

Jia Ding also had his 2nd singles win for WA beating Victor Dang in 3 sets. This will boost his confidence.

Matthew also had his 2nd singles win for WA beating W Johnson in 3 sets, Again, a great confidence booster for the next 2 days of team events.

Matthew and Radhika fought a close 3 set in their mixed doubles but had to concede to C Jong and R Nugroho.

Joanne also went all the way in 3 sets before beating D Nugroho for her first singles win for WA.

This will give them confidence  when they play Vic 2 tomorrow.

If they beat Vic 2, they will have a medal chance.
