It has been a crazy Easter. At 6 am the sound of the whatsapp updates wake me and Annie up.
The team has been fighting so well.
The first match on the 2nd day was against Tasmania. The team had no problems.
The team won 15/1. Alicia our youngest player at 13 years managed her first singles win. Good on her.
It was great that Bella and Xiang also volunteered to partner her in doubles and mixed so that she has a good winning chance. Big brother and sis were looking after younger sis. What great team spirit. The team championships do so much for the players character.
Alicia won her girls and mixed doubles thanks to big bro and sis.
The team did well against Tasmania but there was more to come in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, the team played Vic .
It was to be a greater challenge.
WA managed a 9/7 victory after a gallant fight by all the team players. The standout player was Jasper who went 3 sets and prevailed.
With that victory, they were now able to fight for the gold medal placing if they beat their next opponent which will be NSW 1.
