2nd day at Auckland

Dear readers

Had 6 hrs sleep waking up realising that it was Good Friday today. How am I supposed to get provisions for lunch today if the shops are closed.

Started looking at the web for recipes for cooking using microwave as that is the only equipment we all had.

Improvise, improvise  to survive.

The front office girl must be sick of me as I kept going to ask for kitchen equipment. Scraping the barrel to find pots and other cooking utensils. They do not even have a knife that cuts well.

Kids are settled in with their familiarisation of the new , but old timber courts.

Just been told that the shops do not close for Easter. Supposed the kiwis are not as religious as the Aussies.
